Options for handing over the user identification

Your user identification will be available the day after it was approved by the managing director. A safe handing over should be chosen, because the user identification also contains a password.

To come to the GWDG in person is the safest way to be handed over the user identification. If you choose this option, you will have to prove your identity in the way you chose it in the application.

If an authorized representative of your choice is supposed to collect the access data, he or she will have to show a power of attorney which was signed by you and he or she will have to prove his or her identity with a valid passport.

The user identification can also be send via intern mail system (not via public letter post). Please ensure that no unauthorized person opens your mail if you choose this option.
